November 21st, 2006
I have no reviews today. Instead, I must take time to say goodbye to a baby that we never got to know. Three months in the womb, and poof, it's gone. Boy? Girl? We don't know. But somehow we got to love it as much as if we had interacted with it for even longer than that. How can you get so close to one that you haven't met? If I ever had any doubts as to when a baby becomes a person, I have none now. I had no idea that I would break down so much when we finally found out for sure. My wife knew, as mothers do, and we had started mentally preparing ourselves. But that doesn't eliminate the little spark of hope that we might be wrong. How I wish we had been wrong! Goodbye, little one. A big, very teary goodbye. We never knew you, but we miss you all the same.

I no longer feel the need to update reviews on the movies included on this site, so they are getting shorter and shorter. For many movies that I re-watch, a two-line review will be the norm, or even simply an update on the counter with a description of the date.

As a Star Wars movie, Revenge of the Sith belongs on this site more than most movies. Even though I am not writing new movie reviews (except possibly for the Harry Potter films), this one was a must-add.
