This was less a tribute to Tolkien than simply a group of fantasy short stories. Some had explicit references to Tolkien and his works, with riddles, dragons hoarding treasure, the supremacy of good over evil and nature over technology. But even those were not really in his style. I guess it's hard to write an epic short story. |
