At best, this was a quiet movie with lots of action, and cool Japanese sword fighting. The man who Logan saved became a good friend and mentor, but then obsession drove him mad. As expected from an X-Men movie, the plot began simple, but then grew more complex as it went on, and motivations were revealed. Does it make sense for the grandfather to turn the company over to the granddaughter, instead of his son? Why would he do this? Was she a mutant? It's not clear at all. The best part of the movie, after the nuclear blast, was the end, when it's revealed that Professor X survived and grew back into his old body -I guess the one he transferred over to after the credits of X-Men 3 was also bound to a wheelchair?

Interesting, and probably better than most superhero movies in that the action didn't last overly long. People were outsmarted and had to overcome long odds to recover. Very interesting.
