This is not a bad movie, and I can't point at anything that makes it less of an action movie. It's hard to see it as Star Wars, but what are the missing elements? The failed attempt to get the coaxium, as well as the raid on kessel were highlights, and fun, intense, and funny, too. The love story was less so, as I found the actors lacked the needed chemistry.

A fun action movie, but nothing special, unfortunately. I didn't see Han Solo in the main character, and although the action sequences were fun, there wasn't much Star Wars feel to it. I think the best thing about the movie was Lando. The train sequence was a lot of fun, but I would have liked to know more about Han as an Imperial soldier.

A good story, but nothing special, unfortunately. Star Wars has become more like Mission Impossible, Jason Bourne, and other generic action-type movies. There's a setup, a knock-down, and all sorts of misdirection in between. The actors did a good job, especially Lando, but most of it was great visual effects and little story.
