The most unintended side effect is probably that Jurassic World, the park, would have ceased to exist after only a few short years, even if it hadn't been overrun by the runaway dinosaur in the last movie. This movie, however, is a well-displayed reenactment of Jurassic Park II, as it has all the same elements. Where it differs is the audacity of the ending, allowing the dinosaurs to roam free in human populations. So what happens next? It's amazing how much destruction a guilty conscience can do, and this time I think it's irreversible.

I'm not sure how I feel about the big risk and world change that occurs in this movie. It rehashes both Jurassic Park II and III, especially in bringing the dinosaurs to North America. The clone girl was an interesting twist, which kept the characters front and center in a movie that tries to be about the dinosaurs. Unfortunately, it goes too often into territory we've seen before, with the greedy corporate guys doing anything to get millions of dollars, no matter the cost to society. I fully expect to see a third movie in this series, where all the major cities are surrounded by electric fences, and dinosaurs rule the country in between. I find it amazing that the Jurassic World is so unlucky -even if the events of the first movie hadn't happened, they would have lost everything due to the volcanic eruption anyway. Not as long-lived as Disneyworld, for sure.
