A movie best to turn the brain off and just enjoy the mayhem. After visiting Universal Studios, it was great to see Blue and the other characters, and relive the high energy stakes. The sight of the pteradons grabbing people in the sweltering heat from the main entrance was probably the scariest part, mainly because the human part was so realistic, with the wait for evacuation, the endless lines and exhaustion -and then the terror of running for your life! The danger aspect was pure thriller, and is best enjoyed just for the silly situations and the way stupid people die at the mouths of the dinosaurs.

The best of the Jurassic movies after the first one, but it has a lot of things up on that one anyway, especially the effects, and the villain, who is a lot less annoying than Nedry.

Fun, with great visuals and a basic terror storyline. I liked the new aquatic dinosaurs, but have trouble believing they could keep it so tamed -though I predicted its role at the end. There was a nice tribute to the original movie, and setup for another one, of course. The raptor training proved useful and detrimental at different points in the movie, and they made friends by the end.
