I'm not a Deadpool fan, so all of his breaking of the fourth wall, and his physical antics at pretending to be sexy while drawing fire and flirting with the bad guys, not to mention the significant buildup of dead bodies as he barely twitches a muscle, all fell flat for me. The better parts, I found, were his use of Wolverine and the other mutants. The guest stars didn't do much for me (why bring the girl here?), but they did generally go out in style. I could have done without the use of the TVA, which I guess is now ingrained into the Marvel universe. There were some really good parts, and despite the pain points above, I did enjoy the action and fight sequences. The potential sacrifice at the end was well done, though I wondered why Wolverine couldn't slice the door off as he always does otherwise. Best to turn the brain off for this one, and just enjoy the action unfold.
