Humanity continues to battle the powerful and deadly nordene in a losing war, where they have already suffered devastating losses. Trying to sneak aboard the lead nordene ship to rescue the love of her life, Monera encounters a figure from the future, who may be able to help. Fresh from the war on Rykol, Kirina is trapped, unable to fulfill her role as Prophet in the past, and unwilling to move into the future without Aderen. Her decisions could lead to victory, or the ultimate defeat in another timeline.
