-- First reading (paperback)
December 21st to 30th, 1994

After reading War of the Worlds and The Time Machine, I thought I liked this author. But after reading about his version of utopia after our planet passes through a comet tail, where all passions are removed, I nearly through the book into the fire. (But then I thought of Fahrenheit 451!) This is as bad as it gets.
