MEN FROM EARTH

by Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Malcolm McConnell
(1989, Bantam)

Detailing the US space program from Mercury to Apollo, and also the Russian progress as each step was made.

-- First reading (hardcover)
April 19th to 29th, 1999

I picked this book up thinking I would get rid of it after reading it. Wrong! Not only does Aldrin talk about the Apollo program (and Mercury and Gemini leading up to it), but he also details the development of the Soviet run for the moon. This is a keeper, not only for the memories that are shared, but as a reference book as well.
