Picard and his crew must defeat the vanguard of an alien invasion. They discuss the situation with the captain of the Furies' ship, and offer peace instead.

This one was incredible!  It was the Next Generation part of the series.  I could hear the characters talking in the actors' voices.  These authors really know them!  The concept was great, too.  But I did feel that it was too convenient that a crew member is lost into the Delta Quadrant.  But now Voyager will know what is going on when they finally meet this Starfleet member.
