Still boring, and I wonder what happened in the US compared to other countries -why were the mutants safe in Canada, for example? Logan and Professor X are both dying, but new mutants based on cloning technologies are being turned into weapons. The whole situation was confusing. Logan got a great sendoff, being a true hero in saving the kids, but Prof X did not.

Rather than being an exciting story about how mutant powers are used, this movie takes a completely different turn. Mutants have been pretty much wiped out by a drug put in corn syrup, which is everything we eat. The movie is a dystopian view of the world, completely different from the superhero movies these used to be. It's depressing, yet it still shows a ray of hope. The kids who esacpe in the end have managed to overcome the drug/antibodies through careful breeding, and still have mutant powers. It's unclear how the rest of the world thinks of mutants, as they are trying to get to Canada, where presumably they will not be hunted.
