Still my favorite of the X-Men movies, to see both the old and new crew together. I love the way the crisis brings Charles and Eric together again, and the speed-guy saving them all to an old rock-n-roll song was amazing. This story, though, belonged to Mystique, who evolves from caring about mutants only to caring about the world. Well done.

I love the interaction between the two sets of casts, in different timelines, with different actors. A lot of fun again.

I like the X-men movies. There is something about being able to do a unique thing that nobody else can do, and pool your ability with somebody else's to overcome long odds. In this movie, like in X-Men United, the bad ones and good ones are working together. The events in the future are scary, and the ones in the past are typical. They went over the top, as always, but that is part of this movie type.
